**Responsibilities**:
- Greet customers as soon as they arrive, and welcome them to the establishment.
- Provide menus and answer questions regarding the menu.
- Make sure their dining experience is a memorable one by providing friendly, efficient service.
- Maintain high quality food and beverage standards, including knowledge of wine, spirits and other drinks.
- Suggest appropriate wines or other drinks to pair with a certain dish based on customer preferences and make recommendations for specific food items (e.g. beef entrees) based on current weather conditions.
- Prepare open-flame cocktails, coffee or tea for customers.
- Describe ingredients or dishes for customers who are interested in ordering but are unsure.
- Attend to guests' special needs and requests in a timely and efficient manner (e.g. preparing special dishes in a kitchen, ordering birthday cakes etc.).
- Clear away used plates and glasses once customers are finished with them.
- Restock service areas and clean up spills quickly and efficiently.
- Remove used dishes and glasses from guests' tables after the meal (.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
