- Pre-racecourse preparations (going over and measuring the course leading up to the race).
- Helping at race kit pick up prior to race day or putting race kits together.

**What we are looking for**:

- Motivated individuals who have experience working at or participating in races.
- You can lift 50lb and can walk 10,000 steps per day.
- You can work outside in a variety of conditions (we host races through all seasons).
- You’re curious about race and hosting events and want to learn more - we’ll provide training to build your skills.
- You’re a “can do” person who likes to learn new things.
- You have strong customer service skills and are personable. You can interact with the runners in a friendly and outgoing professional manner.
- You take initiative and can work both independently and as part of a team.
- CPR certification is an asset, so please specify if you have any certifications.

**Availability requirements**:

- Must be available to work 80% of VR Pro scheduled events within a calendar year. We typically put on 10-12 races within a given year.
- Must be available to work on weekends. Races take place on the weekends, with some falling on holidays (example: Canada Day race).
- Shifts will start in the early morning (can be as early as 5AM in some cases).
- We will ask for you availability for each event during the onboarding process so that you can plan accordingly. Only those who are available for a minimum of 80% of our events will be considered.
- You must provide your own transportation to and from races.

**Rate**: $20 per hour (paid in full the week following the completion of your shift). In addition to getting paid, you will also receive race swag.
