Bookkeeper/ Accounting Technician

Your Opportunity

Our Uxbridge office is looking for a bookkeeper / accounting technician to join our team and own the following responsibilities:

- Efficiently perform bookkeeping and monthly reconciliations for clients
- Efficiently prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader engagement
- Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for a variety of client sizes
- Prepare corporate and/or personal tax returns including information returns
- Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to request and suggestions
- Completion of ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.

Your experience and education
- You have completed your undergraduate degree or diploma in accounting and the necessary pre-requisites
- You have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
- You have proven leadership skill and can take initiative to seek understanding
- You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Uxbridge, ON L9P 1P6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)
