**IT Support Analyst**
We are looking for an **IT Support Analyst (Level 1)** to join our team. This position is responsible for providing **technical support to internal staff** and occasionally assisting external clients with basic issues.
The role is key to ensuring the continuity of our operations by delivering **friendly, patient, and efficient support** to users who may have limited technical knowledge.
**Who we are**:
West-Wood Industries manufactures high-quality, custom wood windows and doors, sold throughout Canada and the United States under the brand name Norwood Windows & Doors. We mill our own wood onsite and are proud of our quality products.
Our facility has over 250,000 sq ft of floor space spread across six buildings where we transform raw Atlantic Canadian lumber into custom doors and windows.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Maintenance for hardware, software, and network.
- Administer **Microsoft environments** (Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, Exchange).
- Provide basic support for **Linux servers** and **macOS laptops**.
- Document solutions and create **clear, user-friendly manuals**.
- Assist in training sessions for users with limited IT knowledge.
- Monitor and support **networks, servers, and virtualization environments**.
- Escalate more complex issues to Level 2 or the appropriate team.
**Requirements**:
- Strong knowledge of **Microsoft infrastructure** (Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, Exchange).
- Familiarity with **networks, servers, and virtualization**.
- Basic knowledge of **Linux and macOS**.
- **ITIL certification** is an asset.
**Soft Skills**

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to document processes and create user manuals.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
**Education and Experience**
- **Technical diploma** in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (minimum).
- **2-3 years of experience** in IT support (Level 1).
