Junior Planner

**Reports to**: Materials and Planning Manager
**Position Type**: Permanent, Full-Time

**Summary**:
As a Junior Planner for Production and Inventory Control, you will be responsible for materials planning, production scheduling and inventory control to meet customer demand in a high mix & low volume market.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and manage the master production schedule to satisfy Customer and Internal demand while optimizing production resources and minimizing inventory;
- Participate in regular production scheduling meetings for capacity and material planning;
- Liaise between Customer Service/Internal Customers and Production with regard to delivery commitments for all demand. This includes delivery schedules for new demand, and revised schedules for existing demand as required;
- Maintain adequate materials to ensure steady production as well as the inventory targets; monitor materials flow and demand history to identify bottlenecks and forecast issues
- Analyze inventory and demand trends and make suggestions to prioritize, expedite or reschedule manufacturing orders or associated purchase orders
- Assist physical inventory count;
- Assist with implementation of changes to improve inventory accuracy including warehouse management, workflow, capacity planning etc.
- Other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- College diploma related to production planning and inventory control equivalent experience
- New graduates welcome; mínimal experience required.
- A mínimal 1 year of experience of MRP and ERP
- Strong analytical knowledge and excellent skill of MS Excel
