We are a small restaurant in Port Credit and we are looking for an assistant server to join our team The restaurant has under 30 seats, serving fresh and deliciously healthy food.

What we are looking for:

- Experience in direct customer service considered an asset
- Flexible hours
- Smart Serve Certification must be attained before start date
- Must be able to work efficiently in an intimate environment
- Strong leadership, communication, organization and time management skills
- Knowledge of vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free cuisines considered an asset
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently while multitasking
- Reliable transportation to and from work at any time of day (early or late hours)
- Ability to take initiative

**Job Description**:

- Maintain a positive attitude at all times
- Greeting and seating guests upon arrival
- Answering phone calls and entering take-out orders in the POS system
- Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and keeping a close eye on all guests at all times
- Prepare all drinks for tables which include, but are not limited to, cocktails, smoothies, coffees, lattes...
- Collect payments
- Ensure all food and drink items are included in take-out bags
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests, with the ability to make recommendations
- Requires standing for long periods of time, regular use of stairs and heavy lifting
- Maintain a clean work environment and manage day-to-day sanitation controls
- Maintain inventory on a regular basis
- Maintain freshness of products and rotating old products out first

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
