**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of various age groups. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care in a hospital or clinical setting. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients and their families.

**Responsibilities**
- Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team at an inclusive education school; supporting students with different communications needs;
- Responsibilities include: neurodiversity-affirming assessment and therapy (individual and group), and consultation with school-based team, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge and interest in the areas of AAC, GLP, sensory/regulation, SSD, literacy, and evidence-based language interventions;
- General caseload information: students in grades k-12 with individual education plans (modified or adapted curriculum), diagnoses may include autism, learning disability, intellectual disability, genetic syndrome

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensed with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (or conditional

**Job Specifics**
- Days of work are based on the 10-month school calendar (September -June)
- School days run 8:30-3:30 Monday-Thursday, 8:30-12:30 Friday. Full time or.88 position if no Fridays)
