**Your Role on our Team**:Providing support to the Contracts Manager on all costing and budgeting related to residential low-rise and mid-rise construction.
**In this role, you will**:
- Providing quantity surveying and quantity takeoff
- Performing detailed, timely, and well-organized cost estimates for low rise and high rise buildings
- Providing and maintaining unit pricing and database for material and labor costs
- Preparation of tender documents
- Recording, evaluating, and comparing bids from multiple vendors and subcontractors
- Analyzing drawings and specifications Creating and presenting reports to upper management
**We would like you to have**:
- Relevant post-secondary education
- Experience in the construction industry
- Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office suite; outlook, word, excel
- Ability to work with estimating software
- Highly detail-oriented, Self-directed, organized, and proactive
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and communication skills
