**The challenge**:
The SEED Homes Cabinet Installer will ensure the precise and secure installation of cabinetry, adhering to design specifications and quality standards.

**What you'll do**:

- Interpret plans and specifications to determine the layout, materials, and installation procedures
- Take precise measurements of the installation area to ensure the cabinets fit correctly
- Ensure the area is clean and properly prepared
- Position, align, and secure cabinets to walls, floors, and other structures using levels and other tools to ensure cabinets are installed evenly and correctly
- Make any necessary adjustments to doors, drawers, and hardware to ensure proper operation
- Install trim, molding, and other finishing elements to complete the installation
- Maintain a clean work area and remove any debris or waste materials
- Handle and move materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders

**What you'll have**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training or coursework in carpentry or other related trade an asset
- At least 2 years of related experience (carpentry, woodworking, cabinet installation)
- Ability to work meticulously and pay close attention to detail to achieve high-quality work and ensure client satisfaction
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
- Ability to accurately measure, calculate dimensions, and read blueprints
- Manual dexterity with the ability to handle tools and materials with precision
- Physical stamina with the capability of performing physically demanding tasks, including safely lifting and carrying heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working in various positions
- Understanding of materials, construction methods, and safety regulations related to cabinet installation
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety regulations and practices to prevent incidents, injuries, and damage to property
- Ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot, and think critically
- Adaptability and accountability
- Exemplary organizational skills with task prioritization, multi-tasking, and time-management techniques
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter propensity with the proven ability to lead, take initiative, and work independently
- Team orientation with a sense of humour and positivity

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
