**MRO Buyer - Fall Co-op**

- Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Manager, the MRO Buyer is responsible for processing Purchase Orders and related supporting documentation on a timely basis for all plants. This role is also responsible for completing transactions in Oracle (MPR System) accurately to maintain data integrity and maintain supplier communications to ensure they have accurate information to support New Flyer requirements.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Communicates Consumable Spot Buy Requisitions and Purchase Orders expeditiously to Suppliers.
- Manages, orders and maintains office stationary for Supply Chain.
- Develops and sustains a professional relationship with Suppliers and Customers towards proper execution of tasks assigned.
- Resolves issues related to suppliers and expedite items that will not meet requirements.
- Resolves documentation issues as they arise.
- Maintains Oracle MRO Supplier Database (active and archived MRO agreements) and maintain Blanket Purchase Orders.
- Completes administrative tasks associated with documentation preparation, filing and storage on a timely basis.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Enrolled in bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent.
- 1-3 years’ in purchasing or planning in a manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional data gathering and analysis skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to shift focus quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of MRP systems considered an asset.
