Stonehooker Brewing Company is Mississauga’s premier craft brewery located in the growing community of Lakeview. We are looking to enhance and expand our hospitality business with the skills of an experienced Hospitality Lead. We are looking for a dedicated, driven individual who is passionate about beer, events and providing our customers with an excellent customer experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree/College Diploma and preferably one to two years of restaurant or hospitality event management experience
- Point of sale system experience (Square)
- Good organizational skills

Front of the House Responsibilities:

- Management of the POS system, both server interface and back-office interface
- Management of Untappd for Business software for production of menus
- Lead staff onboarding and training
- Motivate taproom staff to stay on task, focused and positive. Resolve staff conflicts and customer’s concerns
- Schedule Front of the house staff and coordinate with back of house for packaging schedules
- Maintain labour to sales targets
- Dedication to providing excellent customer service and improving the customer experience
- Manage weekly sales, tip-out and cash reporting to accounting
- Manage adequate inventory of consumables for front of house
- Coordinate on-site signage for special events, beer launches, entertainment and other information important to our customers
- Focus on continuous, ongoing improvement by resolving issues and refining best practices.

Event Management Responsibilities
- Provide analysis of events, and provide direction on future events. Communicate and coordinate with clients on booking requirements for private events held at Stonehooker
- Plan events that range from the simple to the complex with a high level of care and detail
- Coordinate and communicate detail with front of house crew so as to meet or exceed expectations for each event
- Coordinate with FOH crew on scheduling, setup and tear-down
- Coordinate with Kitchen or third-party vendor on food requirements and pricing
- Coordinate with Operation on space requirements and production schedule if necessary
- Invoicing and final billing
- Maintain customer relationship management through the use of Pipedrive software to track progress of private event bookings
- Must be familiar with all major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
- Develop plans to promote events, seeking to achieve event attendance targets
- Support marketing efforts to help promote brewery events and sell private events

- Regular communication and organizational collaboration with brewery management, FOH crews and other teams at the brewery

- Have a critical eye for small details in artwork and print material
- Other duties as they may be assigned.
