We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team at My Tea Bar & Sobe Treats. As a Barista and Customer Service Representative, you will play an integral role in providing exceptional service to our customers and managing the operations of both our My Tea Bar menu and the Sobe Treats Raw Pet Food Market. This position requires a love for both coffee, tea and pets, as well as a passion for creating a warm and welcoming environment for all our guests.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Prepare and Serve Drinks**:
- Brew coffee, tea, and other beverages from the My Tea Bar menu with attention to detail and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station.
- Customize drinks based on customer preferences, ensuring satisfaction with every order.
**Customer Service**:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, approachable manner.
- Take orders, answer questions about the menu, and offer recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Handle customer concerns and complaints with patience and professionalism.
**Inventory Management**:
- Keep track of inventory for both café items and pet food products from the Sobe Treats Raw Pet Food Market.
- Restock supplies and inform management when products are low to ensure timely replenishment.
- Organize product displays and ensure everything is well-maintained and visually appealing.
**Cash Handling & POS System**:
- Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash and card payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized cash register area.
**Teamwork & Collaboration**:
- Work well with other team members to ensure smooth café and market operations.
- Contribute positively to a collaborative, friendly, and professional work environment.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the café, pet food market, and other public spaces as needed.
**Pet-Friendly Environment**:
- Provide excellent customer service for both pet owners and their pets.
- Assist with any pet-related needs, including offering treats or accommodating pets within the café.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Passion for pets and creating a pet-friendly atmosphere.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of cash handling and POS systems is a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.

Pay: $16.55-$24.08 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
