Tea Barista

**Job Overview**
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and/or have a current permit for this position.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Operate the POS system for processing customer orders and payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils
- Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Accurately perform basic math calculations
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation

**Requirements**:

- Previous barista experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Experience in the food industry is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Basic math skills for transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
