**Get to know us**

Quest Window Systems Inc (“Quest”) is a manufacturer of a window wall system designed for high-rise residential developments, based in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Quest services clients from all over North America, including major metropolises such as New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Toronto.

**Purpose**

This position is responsible to ensure that the product manufactured conforms to all established Quality Assurance Requirements. If product does not meet the established requirements, the QA Associate documents and communicates with the Quality Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor. The QA Associate takes appropriate actions when production and/or quality issues arise and maintains an accurate log of daily activities.

**What you will be doing**
- Verify windows are made in accordance with Company specifications and Quality requirements/standards.
- Check window components such as extrusions, gaskets, hardware etc. for aesthetic defects.
- Check CNC machined parts for visual defects such as scratches, verify drain holes, notching, dimensions etc.
- Perform in-process inspection/audit for each department such as Awning/Door assembly, Frame assembly, Panel bending, and Panel/louver assembly.
- Complete daily quality reports using I-Auditor, and report non-conformances to production team & QA Manager.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with the Lead Hands and Production Supervisors.
- Must comply with Company’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and the provisions and regulations as outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act.
- Perform other related or responsibilities as required or assigned

**What you will bring along**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing/assembly experience in a high-volume environment
- Ability to read fabrication drawing and shop drawing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools is required
- Ability to meet lifting requirements upwards of 50lbs
- Ability and willingness to learn about the product and the tests being performed
- Basic Science knowledge to be able to measure air pressure, fluid behaviour is a plus
- Ability to be detailed oriented with a high standard for quality
- Analytical Skills - Ability to analyze information to as certain relevance
- Strong oral and written English communication skills
