We’re looking for a skilled and motivated **Carpenter** to join our crew and help bring high-end projects to life.

**Role Overview**

As a Carpenter at Sylvan Construction, you’ll work closely with the Lead Carpenter and Project Manager to execute all aspects of carpentry from framing to finishing. You’ll be hands-on at every stage of the build, ensuring our projects meet top-quality standards while contributing to a respectful and professional jobsite environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks on residential and light commercial projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet daily targets
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised worksite
- Communicate clearly with team members and site supervisors
- Assist with layout, materials handling, and on-site adjustments

**What We’re Looking For**
- 3-5 years of carpentry experience (apprentices also considered)
- Solid understanding of framing, cabinetry, and finishing techniques
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Willingness to learn and grow with a professional team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license, clean abstract and reliable transportation
- Comfortable with digital tools like photo apps or cloud file sharing (an asset)

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
