The Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) Program is an aircrew training program to prepare pilots, Air Combat Systems Operators, and Airborne Electronic Sensor Operators to meet the future aerospace requirements of the Royal Canadian Air Force. As part of the SkyAlyne Team, KF Aerospace will operate an Acceptable Technical Organization (ATO) acting as the Military Type Certificate Holder for the five fleets of training aircraft.
**JOB OVERVIEW**
The Deputy Program Manager will support the Project Manager in the execution and coordination of all project activities.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide support for overall Program Management for the KFL FAcT workshare and Project Management for the FAcT Aircraft Acquisition portfolio.
- Interface with customers and strategic suppliers, as required.
- Assist the Project Manager in tracking project milestones, deliverables, and schedules.
- Assist with developing proposals and by supporting commercial activities
- Track project financial progress and support milestone payment activities
- Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional team activities, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Manage project-related procurement processes, vendor communication, and task assignments.
- Maintain & update Gantt charts throughout the course of the project to assist in project schedule management.
- Assist with maintaining Risks and Issues Registers and track and manage all assigned actions.
- Monitor and track escalations.
- Travel is required to other KF locations, nationally and internationally to interact with OEM’s.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Completion of a University Aerospace Engineering program.
- 1-3 years of experience in project management preferred.
- Prior experience in aviation preferred.
- Willingness to become a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) recognized by Project Management International (PMI)
- Experience with configuration management processes in a technical or engineering environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with contract management software and project management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams and MS Project) is required.
- Strong understanding of Project Management Principles as described in the PMI Project Management, Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
- Due to security clearance requirements, Canadian citizenship or PR status is preferred
- Ability to gain and obtain Secret Security Clearance is mandatory.

- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, healthcare, construction, or government projects) is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
