**Why this role is important?**

**What you'll do**
- Inputting and billing prescriptions using the **Kroll computer**system is essential. Must be proficient with **Kroll software** and fully understand third party billing policies (pack up #8 position)
- Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling handling and dispensing their prescriptions.
- Third Party adjudication where required and necessary
- Accurate dispensing prescription medications Filling, compounding and verifying prescriptions accurately/efficiently

Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
- General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
- Handling customer prescription drop off and pick up
- Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy

**What you'll need**
- Experience as a Pharmacy assistant at minimum one year full time experience
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Strong motivation to succeed and exceptional customer service skills are critical for this role
- Proficient computer/data/entry skills and Strong organizational skills
- Problem Solving Skills and attention to detail

**You must have**
- A can-do attitude and team focus
- Proven pharmacy experience, reliability and team player
- Advanced oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of hospital staff
- A high level of attention to detail and precision in record keeping
- Demonstrated experience working in fast paced environment
