Glass Sanding Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Glass Sander Specialist to join our production team in transforming recycled wine bottles into smooth, professional-grade candle holders. This role involves using an industrial glass sander to polish bottles to a finished look, utilizing multiple grits throughout the process to ensure a flawless surface and edge.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sand and finish wine bottles using an industrial glass sander
- Follow a multi-step sanding process involving various grit levels to ensure a smooth, safe finish
- Inspect each bottle for quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Use all required personal protective equipment (PPE) during work
- Track and report bottle completion rates
- Transport bottles to and from the workshop (if required)

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week
- Access to a personal vehicle for reliable transportation
- Attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality, consistent results
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working with machinery and glass
- Must adhere to all safety protocols (PPE provided and mandatory)

Compensation Structure: (Pay is based on productivity)
- Standard rate: Approx. 15 bottles/hour ($22.50)
- Experienced rate: Up to 25 bottles/hour ($37.50)
