We’re currently looking for experienced **Excavator Operators** to join our crew for **local and camp-based projects** throughout Bonnyville/Cold Lake. Many of our supervisors started in the seat. **What You’ll Be Doing** - Operate **excavators** safely and efficiently - Perform all aspects of **earthmoving**—digging, trenching, backfilling, sloping, grading, stockpiling, and material loading. - Complete **lease builds, road construction, pad work, and reclamation** scopes. - Read and follow **grade plans, stakes, or GPS**, depending on the site. - Support ground crews and perform basic labour tasks when needed. - Conduct **daily inspections** and ensure your machine is running smoothly and safely. - Follow all Westcore safety procedures, FLHAs, and PPE requirements. **What You’ll Need** - **2+ years experience** operating heavy excavators in a civil, mining, or oilfield setting. - Comfortable working on varied terrain, including muskeg, soft ground or winter conditions. - Capable of detailed finish work and trimming. - Able to **read grade plans**, work independently, and spot potential issues. - Must be safety-focused, reliable, and ready to work day or night shifts as needed. **Minimum Requirements** - Valid **Class 5 Driver’s Licence** (clean abstract preferred). - Safety tickets**:CSTS 2020 (or CSO), First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance Level II**. - Able to pass **pre-employment drug, alcohol, and fit-to-work testing**. - Must supply own **6" steel-toe CSA-approved boots**. - Willing to work **outdoors in all weather conditions** on **10-12 hour shifts**. **Ready to Apply?** Only applicants selected for interview will be contacted.
