Ottawa, Canada Hubert's Fireplaces Full time

We’re hiring a Fireplace Technician / Installer with solid construction or renovation experience and the ability to step into a Team Lead role. This position combines hands-on installation work with on-site leadership responsibilities—perfect for someone who can handle both the tools and the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, service, and troubleshoot fireplaces (gas, wood, electric)
- Demolish existing units, reframe, prep and finish new installation spaces
- Lead or coordinate other crew members as needed on job sites
- Ensure project quality, code compliance, and customer satisfaction
- Maintain inventory, tools, and basic job documentation
- Represent the company professionally on-site and in client interactions

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Strong background in renovations, carpentry, or construction
- Previous experience with fireplace installs or HVAC a major asset
- G2 or G3 license (or willingness to obtain)
- Leadership experience or clear potential to lead a small crew
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- gas fireplace installation: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- G drivers license (required)
- G2 (preferred)
