**What you will do**:

- Initiate collections on outstanding receivables, with emphasis on past due accounts to understand payment status, achieve DSOs and other monthly KPIs.
- Contribute to creation of the credit monitoring function for new and existing clients
- Upload invoices to client online portals to ensure prompt payment
- Constantly monitor the accounts receivable aging for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with clients regarding invoice disputes and questions
- Communicate with Vena's sales, services and customer success teams regarding invoice disputes and questions
- Update and maintain accurate customer files with all applicable correspondence and report to Management on status as required
- Responsible for weekly cashflow forecasting and contributing to monthly accounts receivable meeting to present collection key performance indicators, updates, and status
- Adoption of IFRS 9 monthly reporting with relation to allowance for doubtful accounts, including an applicable accounting memo
- Staff supervision
- Manage the collection agency communication, reporting and follow up as required.
- Evaluation of accounts receivable optimization tools, policies, procedures, etc.
- Support financial statement audits with information requests
- Documentation of key processes and controls
- Ad hoc reporting, research, and analysis
- Other duties, as assigned

**Does this sound like you?**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Required minimum 3 years managing a team and 5 years previous experience with commercial collections; contract review an asset
- Excellent organization, and prioritization skills and thrives in a fast paced environment
- Working knowledge of Netsuite or similar ERP System, as well as Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
