**Duties**:
- Have a strong working knowledge of the various cannabis products we sell including flower, pre-rolls, edible, vape, beverage, concentrate, capsules, topicals, etc
- Assist customers in selecting the right products based on their preferences and needs
- Upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Accurately process transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
- Maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Follow all provincial regulations pertinent to the sale of cannabis
- Ensure compliance with age verification procedures for all customers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous budtending experience (minimum 1 year)
- CannSell Certificate
- Strong communication skills in English; both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build rapport with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Proficient computer operation skills for point-of-sale systems and inventory tracking
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Leadership skills to assist in training new team members
