**Job Title: Business Analyst with Vendor Mgt Support**

**Location: Mississauga, CAD**

**Duration: 12+ Months contract**

**Note**:
**Background**:
We need to consolidate and stabilize the relationship with our vendor Emerson Automation Solutions. The are 3 main areas of improvement are
- Global alignment (on Roche side as well as on Emerson side) to ensure successful delivery of business-critical upgrades and features (short-, mid
- and long-term)
- Roche/Genentech-internal alignment to streamline Rs&Rs, communication and collaboration with Emerson
- Collaboration with Procurement to adapt and (re)negotiate parts of the MSA and consolidate contracts across Roche (focus: global Emerson rates + pricing models; KPIs; central and globally transparent handling of Emerson business)

The initial focus is the Emerson product MES Syncade, the expectation is that this (in alignment with Business) will also be extended to other relevant Emerson products.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Supports of the official main Roche representative for Emerson
- Gathers, analyzes and visualizes data to prepare material, presentations and meetings on the executive Roche-Emerson level
- Supports the 3 main areas of improvement, take over tasks or entire work streams including the alignment and discussion of Rs&Rs with the Business stakeholders from diverse functions in Pharma TechOps and IT
- Gathers business understanding of the pain points and the needs in the relationship we have with Emerson
- Analyzes existing contracts, prepares negotiations with the vendor, drafts relevant KPIs
- Gathers and aligns must-do features, required timelines and any restrictions from the different Manufacturing sites in order to consolidate and optimize the impact of business-critical updates across Roche

**Must Haves**:

- 5-7 years of experience as a **Business Analyst, DSM or Project Coordinator**:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
- Experience working in a global, virtual matrix organization
- Analytical thinking, structured approach to identify potential benefits and structure them into business cases
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in managing a vendor
- Background in Manufacturing IT and or OT
- Experience with **MES, DCS or other TechOps production systems. Specifically EMERSON Syncade Core**

**Nice To Have**:

- IIBP or PMP certification
