**Responsibilities**:

- 3-10 hours of weekly commitment.
- Availability for **both **online or in-person lessons.
- Maintain a predictable schedule that may include evenings and weekends for clients.

**Qualifications**:
Past experience in tutoring is an asset:

- Native or near-native speaker of French with excellent pronunciation and knowledge of French grammar.
- Fluent English speaker.
- Teaching: 1 year minimum (preferred).
- French Immersion teaching experience.
- Experience working with children and adolescents.
- Access to a car is an asset (for in-home applicants).
- Bachelor's degree or higher is a requirement.

**Remuneration**:

- $25-$30 per session.
- You are considered a contractor - no deductions, CPP or EI
- A short interview will be conducted to look at the teacher's abilities
- Applicants will be given a list of items on what to expect from the interview
- Based on the results of the interview, the exact hourly rate will be determined

Tutors who cannot tutor in-person within the GTA will experience longer wait times for students.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
