Biomed Recovery & Disposal Ltd. is hiring for the position of **Regina Warehouse Driver **to work as an integral member of our team at our warehouse in Regina, SK.

As the **Regina Warehouse Driver, **you will report to the Senior Regina Driver, CEO, General Manager, and Assistant General Manager, working to coordinate logistics of customer service in the Regina area. Job duties primarily include driving a commercial truck to pick up waste from Biomed customers as well as maintenance of the warehouse and the Regina fleet. Specifically, this position is responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
**Driver duties** including, but not limited to:

- following pre and post-trip steps;
- servicing customers in Regina as assigned;
- communicating regularly with reception, plant workers, management, and other drivers;
- completing waybills as required neatly and in sufficient detail;
- maintaining inventory of products in vehicles for customers as needed;
- maintaining cleanliness of interior and exterior of trucks; and
- operating commercial carrier vehicles with professionalism, care, and maturity.

**Administrative and Housekeeping duties **including, but not limited to:

- updating customer information and route lists as discrepancies are found, in conjunction with management, reception, and other drivers;
- maintaining records pertaining to the Regina warehouse;
- monitoring the security and alarm system;
- maintaining the in-floor heat system (boilers); and
- facility and yard maintenance such as cleaning and maintaining organized inventory of the warehouse, arranging for septic and Loraas trucks as required, snow removal during winter months, lawn mowing and yard maintenance during summer months, pest control, light maintenance, and other interior and exterior maintenance duties as required.

This position requires someone who is dependable, adaptable, and able to self manage. A Class 5 Driver’s License is required and experience driving standard transmission is considered an asset. Drivers must be added to our company driver abstract and will therefore have to provide a valid license upon accepting the position.

Experience with Microsoft programs including Excel, Outlook, and Word is considered an asset. A high level of professionalism is expected as the Regina Warehouse Driver represents the company in servicing Regina customers. This includes not only being hardworking, dependable, and respectful, but also dressing appropriately, use of professional language, and maintaining a positive attitude.

**Work hours**:
You will be required to work at least 40 hours/5 days per week, Monday to Friday, anytime between 8:00AM and 9:30PM. This position may require evenings and on-call availability during weekends.

**Compensation**:
This position starts at a wage within the range of $18-21 per hour dependent on experience and job duties.

Following the successful completion of the three-month probationary period, you will become a permanent employee and will be eligible to enrol in our group benefits program which includes coverage for critical illness, short and long-term disabilities, extended health care, dental care, medical care, employee and dependent life, and employee AD&D.

The company pays for Driver haircuts, company-branded clothing, and any required PPE, as this position requires a professional appearance.
