Horizon Retirement Management is a private seniors' residence (RPA) manager with 8 residences in the greater Montreal area and in Ottawa. Join our more than 500 dedicated employees who provide our residents with a daily client experience focused on well-being.
- **The Redwoods is looking to fill a cook position**_
- Part-time
- Day schedule
- Wage is $20.10 per hour

The Cook, under the direction of designated management and supervisors, will prepare, present, store, and dispatch all food products, specifically, but not limited to Dining Room, marketing and catering events and resident tray service where required. This will include various functions to pre-set menu specifications within the given time limitations as previously determined by the Executive Chef and Guest and in compliance with all health and safety regulations by ensuring adherence to all sanitary and safe food handling guidelines at all times.

**Main duties**:

- Prepare and cook tasty and well-presented meals
- Ensure the optimal use of foodstuffs and keep the reserve list up to date
- Follow work methods and use designated products and equipment
- Participate, as needed, in the organization of special events

**Requirements**:

- Professional diploma in cooking
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Valid Food Handlers Certification

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.10 per hour
