**Nature of work**:
**Responsibilities/accountabilities**:
Develop data management and collaboration solutions for all faculties and business units within the university.
- Gather related information on data management and collaborative tools
- Identify business objectives and scope out functional requirements
- Create a project plan and project charter
- Capture all user requirements and create a technical requirements document as required
- Conduct user acceptance testing
- Conduct train the trainer training sessions
- Once signed off move to production environment

Provide the primary administration of Google Workspace for Education
- Gather related information on Google that can be used by students, faculty and staff
- Attend Google Workspace for Education sessions to understand what Google and other higher education institutions are doing currently and future plans
- Identify business objectives and build a road map based on objectives

Provide IT Security guidance for issues relating to Google Workspace for Education
- Manage and support Google Workspace admin panel to support and secure the Google Workspace environment
- Liaise with the Ontario Tech Security analyst as required
- Respond to support tickets through service desk generated tickets from end users
- Conduct midway meetings to ensure deliverables are being met
- Plan and conduct user acceptance as required
- Implement changes / upgrades to production environments once deliverables are met and user training is completed
- Elicit business requirements
- Schedule kick off meeting with key stakeholders to identify business objectives
- Create project plan and project charter as required based on size of project
- Analyze the user requirements and the technical requirements to ensure understanding and desired end state
- Initiate development of project according to the project plan
- Schedule and facilitate meetings as required to ensure deliverables are being met
- Execute user acceptance testing
- Move to production environment once project deliverables are met and user training is completed

**Required Education**:

- Completion of a four-year University program (Bachelor of Computer Science/Information degree)
- Google Workspace for Education Certified Administrator
- Google Cloud Computing (GCP) Administrator
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals
- Project management light framework
- Microsoft Azure Certified: Fundamentals
- Verification of Academic credentials may be required

**Required Experience**:
Over 1 years and including 3 years in similar work:

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to apply, obtain and synthesize user requirements
- Experience with project management tools i.e. project charter, business / system requirements documentation, project task management and milestone reporting
- Experience with HTL, Web Services, PHP, Python, CSS and web technologies
- Experience with SQL, MySQL,.NET, PowerShell, Windows, Windows Server and MacOS
- Ability read and troubleshoot code in Python, PowerShell, SQL etc.
- Solid understanding of the postsecondary environment
- Communication Skills - Communication requires considerable comprehension and interpretation of information of a detailed technical, specialized, or complex nature
