**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Safely operate a bus while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the safety of passengers by conducting pre-trip inspections and maintaining the vehicle in good working condition.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing support as needed, especially for seniors or those with disabilities.
- Educate passengers on safety protocols and bus rules during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, passenger counts, and any incidents that may occur during the trip.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a friendly manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and any delays.

**Skills**
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred to effectively communicate with diverse passenger groups.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues as they arise.
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all passengers.
- Experience in commercial driving is highly desirable, with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Ability to write clear reports regarding incidents or maintenance needs.
- Familiarity with senior care practices is a plus, enhancing interactions with elderly passengers.
- Multilingual abilities are an advantage for serving a broader community base.

Pay: From $20.91 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
