Weagant Farm Supplies, a family-owned Kubota dealership on Hwy 29 north of Brockville, is looking for a Yard & Assembly Person to join our service team of 12-14 (admin + technicians) to work in our newly expanded, 10,000 sq ft shop.

The Yard & Assembly person reports to the Service Manager and helps with the goal of offering industry leading customer service through attention to detail and engagement with staff and customers. This is an entry-level position with the company.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**:
Duties as assigned by the Service Manager:

- As per work order, pick new equipment to be assembled and put in the staging area.
- Assemble and repair new and used equipment, using manuals as guides. Computer time logs must be maintained.
- Local deliveries as directed, ensuring truck log books are updated.
- Performing diagnostic tests on engines and equipment.
- Monitor service maintenance schedules on shop tools and equipment and repair if directed.
- All other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

Regular responsibilities assigned or not by the Service Manager:

- Unload trucks, put equipment away after tagging.
- Gather and haul cardboard to the recycling center each Friday.
- Clean up skids and wood; burn wood when necessary.
- Constant review of the yard to ensure machines are parked and organized in a professional manner, as per direction of the Owner or Sales Manager.
- Constant review of the yard that the grass and building exterior is maintained and presentable.
- Pressure and dry wash used equipment upon arrival and stock tag/QR code all new/used units.
- Polish and clean new and used equipment prior to delivery.

**Requirements**:

- Physical requirements: Able to lift and move pieces of equipment within job context, and work at full range of shoulder motion. Employee must be able to go under, over and within unit(s) being worked on, and be able to bend, pull, push, climb into and around equipment. Employee must be able to stand for most of the day.
- Fork lift certification is mandatory. Once certified the employee shall unload incoming trucks, verify packing slip accuracy, sign for the shipment and forward documents to the office.
- Attendance at company electronic or in-person training is mandatory, as directed.
- Able to perform repetitive tasks on a daily basis. Must be precise in action, analytical, be independent and able to make corrective decisions and consult as needed.
- Valid G-class driver’s license.
- Ability to read and follow detailed assembly and operator manuals.
- Own set of tools is a strong asset.
- Basic knowledge of farm equipment and/or experience on a farm is a strong asset but not essential.

**Hours of Work**:
8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday and 8:00am-12:00pm, every other Saturday

**Compensation**:
In addition to hourly wage, WFS offers benefits + Employee Assistance Program + RRSP contribution. There is room for advancement into agricultural equipment technician training.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
