As a pharmacy assistant or technician you will be responsible for assisting the pharmacists and pharmacy manager with daily operations of community pharmacy. Duties will include customer service, servicing the front counter, cashier duties, telephone inquiries. Additionally, you will operate the pharmacy computer and use Kroll to process prescriptions and assist in the preparation of prescriptions and blister packs. Other responsibilities will include ordering and receiving drug orders and management of the pharmacy inventory. For pharmacy technician, you will also help in the extra duties of vaccinations and blister packs checking. Compounding experience will be a strong asset as well.
- Previous pharmacy assistant experience required
- Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building customer loyalty
- Effective communication skills
- Kroll experience preferred
- Friendly interpersonal skills when dealing with customers & staff
- Effective organizational skills, ability to multi task
- Problem Solving Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Compounding experience preferred

Competitive pay rate based on experience level.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
