**Part-time Casual Production General Labour**
Now is a very exciting time to join the Maple Leaf Wetaskiwin Hatchery. Currently at the Wetaskiwin Hatchery hatch approximately 400,000 chicks per week. Our work includes everything from receiving eggs from our farms to distributing chicks to many growers across the province.
**The Opportunity**
**Responsibilities Include**:

- Working full rotation in the separator area
- Egg room duties as assigned
- Chick room duties as assigned
- Sanitation
- Inovo Transfer
- Other Duties as assigned

**Experience, Competency, Schedule Requirements**
- Punctual and reliable. Able to be at work when required. Covering for vacation, staff shortages and when and if required.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
- Able to stand and walk throughout the shift.
- Ability to interact and share information with Team Members at all levels.
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to working as part of a team
- Able to work varying & flexible hours until job is complete
- Must be able to work in a wet/humid environment
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Must be in good physical condition - able to lift up to 50 lbs. overhead repetitively
- Must be able to use ladders and clean at heights
- Must be able to follow SOP's & schedules
- Must adhere to PCP requirements
- Must adhere to Animal Welfare Practices
- Ability to be called in on short notice.
