Responsible for execution of all day to day work requests, meeting waste processing goals and targets, ensuring the safety program is properly implemented and enforced, coordinating movement of waste between operating units, ensuring proper paperwork is collected for billing purposes, and acting as a senior advisor to all supervisors for all aspects of operations and waste processing. The Operations Manager reports to the General Manager.

Specific Duties:

- Provide oversight and direction to all supervisors and operators in the operating unit in accordance with company Policy and Procedures;
- Review and approve all employee schedules, time sheets, as well as well as ensuring all training for all employees is completed;
- Review invoicing for completeness and accuracy according to quotes, bids and customer pricing;
- Oversee mechanics and assist maintenance manager with planning and co-ordination for all equipment;
- Also responsible for operational purchases and IFTA reporting;
- Plan for staffing needs as operations require;
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including orientation of new employees and providing career development as needed;
- Lead by example. Have a presence to empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability from employees and deal with feedback;
- Encourage teamwork and unity in the workplace;
- Assist employees to meet company expectations for productivity and quality;
- Plan and allocate resources for staff to accomplish company workload goals;
- Plan, develop and evaluate efficiency of the business policy and procedure. As well as make any suggestions for improvements necessary to improve quality and efficiency;
- Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable and defensible in accordance with company policy and procedures;
- Communicate regularly with other managers, and general manager to ensure targets and objectives are clearly defined and expectations are being achieved;
- Share knowledge and experience with other management staff to achieve common goals;
- Perform all other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
