Technical Buyer

**Role**

You are a highly skilled Technical Buyer who will be part of our project sourcing team supporting the development, implementation and management of the buying process to provide Pack-Smart with optimal supply assurance, pricing, flexibility, quality and delivery performance. You will build and leverage strong working relationships with our engineering teams and key suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.

**Responsibilities**
- Execute complete buying process in line with specified requirements, cost, quality and delivery targets.
- Category buying through category analysis and market intelligence activities for end-to-end value chain optimization.
- Secure supply and competitive access to existing and new technology capacities on the market to support existing brands and new product launch, to reduce complexity and costs through supplier rationalization, standardization and to drive innovation.
- Identify market trends, adapt to competitive landscape and the dynamics around the supply markets for sound buying strategies and execution plans.
- Develop sustainable relationships with suppliers.
- ERP Implementation and management of Procurement Module

**Requirements**:

- Technical degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or other comparable programs.
- 4+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the engineering/automation industry.
- Should be familiar with the buying process, category buying, logistics, pricing structures and lead times.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English to effectively communicate technical and non-technical requirements.
