**Job Summary**:
Direct Way Contracting Ltd. is looking for a highly motivated and experienced General Supervisor to lead and oversee our commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects. This individual will be responsible for managing the overall execution of projects, from planning to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The General Supervisor will manage a team of employees and sub-contractors, coordinate project deliveries (including steel studs, drywall, and acoustical ceilings), and maintain continuous communication with engineers and other key stakeholders to ensure project success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Supervision**: Oversee all aspects of commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- **Team & Sub-contractor Management**: Direct and coordinate the activities of on-site employees and sub-contractors to ensure the efficient and high-quality execution of tasks.
- **Budgeting & Cost Control**: Monitor and manage project budgets, ensure financial constraints are met, and track expenses to avoid overruns while maintaining high-quality work.
- **Scheduling & Coordination**: Ensure that all projects are completed on time by managing schedules, resolving delays, and ensuring timely project milestones are met.
- **Communication with Engineers**: Work closely with engineers throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all engineering requirements are met, and address any technical issues promptly.
- **Logistical Management**: Arrange the timely and accurate delivery of materials (steel studs, drywall, acoustical ceilings) to maintain workflow and avoid project delays.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Represent the company in meetings with general contractors, public officials, and other key stakeholders to discuss project progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**: Enforce health and safety standards on-site, ensuring the safety of all workers and compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in construction management or as a supervisor in commercial, industrial, or institutional construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, and logístical coordination, particularly in the areas of steel studs, drywall, and acoustical ceilings.
- Ability to effectively manage a team of employees and sub-contractors to deliver high-quality results.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with engineers, contractors, public officials.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle on-site challenges and maintain project flow.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.
- Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel to various job sites.

**How to Apply**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $48.00-$58.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
