**Warehouse Manager / Food Distribution - Full Time Star Marketing East - Oakville/Burlington (Burloak), Ontario**

Star Marketing represents over 55 brands from around the world and services all classes of trade in the Consumer-Packaged Goods dry grocery segment. We are experiencing rapid growth in Eastern Canada and are opening our own distribution center in Oakville Ontario to meet our growing demand and provide top-level service to our customers.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Coordinate distribution and warehouse operations through hands-on management of staff and resources.

2. Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, efficient inventory management and timely order fulfillment.

3. Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

4. Implement safety protocols and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

5. Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization.

6. Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to coordinate shipments and deliveries.

7. Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage stock rotation.

8. Devise efficient routes for shipments and coordinate transportation logistics.

9. Adhere to warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.

10. Maintain health, safety, hygiene, and security standards.

11. Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate employees.

**Desired Skills and Experience**

1. Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager. Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in food distribution.

2. Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.

3. Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

4. Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.

5. Demonstrated leadership capability and the ability to manage staff effectively.

6. Excellent communication skills.

7. Forklift driving certification/credentials.

8. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

**Location of Position: Oakville, Ontario**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
