Parts Sales Representative

Greater Sudbury, Canada McDowell Brothers Industries Inc. Full time

**Skill Requirements**: Technical training and/or Knowledge of Heavy Equipment Parts.
**Experience**: 3 + years
**Languages**: English but bilingual would be an asset
**Business Equipment and Computer Applications**: Windows, General office equipment, Electronic Mail, Inventory control software, Internet browser, Systematic
**Material Handling Equipment**: Industrial forklifts
**Weight Handling**: Up 75 lbs
**Work Setting**: Industrial establishment
**Parts Specialization**: Heavy equipment, Small engines and generators, Manufacturing equipment
**Specific Skills**:

- Work with customers and mechanics to fill parts requirements
- Prepare invoices for all over the counter sales, and house requisitions for all parts that are issued to the shops.
- Assist in maintaining stock levels, receiving and shipping parts, and in issuing local purchase orders.
- Work with outside salesmen to fill the customer’s parts requirements in order to obtain maximum customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance in the customer parts area and parts warehouse.
- Update and maintain master parts and price books.
- Prepare information for the Parts Manager on parts which may be required for inventory.

- Ability to work in a group environment
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and hours if required
- Knowledge of heavy duty equipment parts experience an asset
- Ability to learn and adapt to multiple data, information and lookup systems used by different vendors
- Operate forklift, pallet jacks indoor and outdoor environment
- Shipping and receiving
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots*
