Wine Lover & Customer Service Champion Needed

The 41st & Main Liquor Store located in Vancouver (5679 Main Street) at the corner of 41st & Main Street requires a part time product consultant.

**About us**: The 41st & Main Liquor Store is a new liquor store that opened in February of 2025. We are proud to be operating in the Main Street / Oakridge area and are surrounded by an amazing neighbourhood and a small community feel. The liquor store is run by a professional team with years of liquor store experience across the lower mainland.

**Position**: The position of Wine Lover & Customer Service Champion is a part time position that operates on Friday & Saturdays from 2pm - 7pm. The primary purpose of this position is to greet customers on the sales floor, offer product recommendations, answer product questions, and assist customers to their vehicles with large purchases. Additionally, when time permits, helping to educate team members with product knowledge. This position does not require any work on a till / cash register. The primary role of the Wine Lover & Customer Service Champion is to offer exceptional customer service and product recommendations during the evening peak busy periods on Friday's and Saturdays. Additional hours are available in December during the peak Christmas / New Years season. The goal of the position is to help provide a memorable customer experience - we are not looking pushy upselling tactics but rather an individual that can help us build long term relationships with our customers through great conversation and quality product advice.

**Requirements**:
Must have wine / liquor / beer knowledge - WSET / Cecerone or other certifications are preferred.

Must have a positive outgoing attitude and the ability to approach customers and strike up conversation.

Mobility is required as you are constantly on your feet and will have to assist customers to their vehicles.

**Compensation**:
$25-$30 per hour depending on experience.

This position is ideal for someone that currently works full time in the hospitality industry that is looking for additional income or a retired individual that has vast wine / liquor knowledge.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
