**Project Manager - Restoration** National Franchise Property Restoration Company is expanding and looking for energetic and self-motivated employees to join our team. **WINMAR** provides emergency and reconstruction services to homes, businesses, industrial and institutional properties after they have been damaged by fire, water, sewage, mould, asbestos, vehicle impacts, etc You will be required to respond to emergencies on a 24 hour on call basis on a rotation schedule Experience in project management is essential **GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**: Initial customer contact within 30 minutes of and first customer visit within 24 hours Dispatch emergency crews Establish scope and standards of construction Estimate equipment, manpower, cost and materials required using industry approved software (ie Xactimate) Establishment of job priority based on general guidelines Inspects buildings to determine work needed to maintain buildings to code and desired standards Ensure all company protocol is followed **SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED**: Able to interact, and effectively communicate (written and oral) Proficiency in the use of common computer software packages Proficient in Xactimate Knowledge of building construction, materials and methods and codes Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction **EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS**: Minimum of 3 years experience as a Project manager in the Restoration industry Any Certification with the IICRC is an asset **PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS AND METRICS**: Punctual and Reliable Produces accurate scopes and cost estimates Manages profitability. Pays attention to detail Able to work in a stressful environment Excellent written and verbal communication in English Project timeliness Effective Scheduling and Supervision Ability to take charge and delegate Effective team player Clean Driver abstract. No criminal record
