Leon’s is a family-built, publicly owned company that has been a part of Canadian homes, and families for over a century, and we are growing. An opportunity is available to join the team in the Finance Department. This in-office role is based out of our Home Office in Toronto at 401 & Weston Rd.

**Responsibilities**:

- Daily reconciliation of financial transactions
- Daily reconciliation of online transactions in relation to financial reporting
- Processing payments and refunds from online sales to corresponding franchise locations
- Assist in reconciliation of entries relating to bank statements
- Daily, monthly & quarterly journal entries to the general ledger
- Maintain effective communication between both corporate and franchise contacts
- Prepare reports that relate to expenses & receivables through excel
- Perform other finance tasks as needed

**Required Skills**:

- Ability to learn internal operating system
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Highly organized and efficient
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable working with numbers
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Post secondary education in finance or accounting an asset
