Par-time hours follow the school year calendar Tuesdays to Thursdays. Weekly hours are approximately 16.25 hours.

The Education Assistant will establish effective working relationships with teachers, parents and the community. A strong background and expertise working with students with a wide range of physical, cognitive, social and emotional differences including:

- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Trauma
- Down Syndrome
- medically fragile
- mild, moderate and severe intellectual delays
- ADHD
- self-care personal assistance, including toileting
- Pay Grid Level I_ - High School Diploma
- Pay Grid Level II_ _(Certified)_ - Educational Assistant Certificate or Diploma, or a High School Diploma and the equivalent of a minimum of one (1) year of full-time post secondary course study
