We are looking for a Warehouse Manager for our Cold storage distribution center on the West side of GTA.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that the warehouse facility operates at the highest levels of productivity and service and foster an environment of development and continuous improvement.
- Oversight will include all operations aspects, including managing day-to-day service challenges and ensuring financial targets are met.
- Responsible for business development and client management ensuring execution of commercial strategy, sales targets, and maintenance of client relationships.
- Ensure safety policies and practices are being adhered to and are fundamental to the Company culture.
- Meet customer and Company key performance metrics, goals, and objectives.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills through (but not limited to) fostering a team environment amongst and within the facilities; coaching and mentoring teams and developing skills and abilities of direct reports.
- Supports the commitment to the Company’s Core Values.
- Coordinate with Managers and Human Resources to ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.
- Operations: Ensure the development of systems and procedures for operating and managing physical facilities, human resources, and equipment profitably. Plan, direct and implement warehouse operations, procedures, and support to meet prescribed productivity and service levels.
- Labor Management: Directs the operation of the warehouse team to achieve prescribed objectives and standards. Develop and maintain a productive, motivated workforce by ensuring effective hiring, training, and development of distribution center associates. Manages labor costs for improved productivity. Provides timely and appropriate performance reviews to all direct reports and ensures the same is done for all associates.
- Customer Service: Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with all customers (internal and external). Establish programs to improve customer awareness at all levels in the organization. Maintain records and reports to ensure customer service levels are being met. Develop and maintain a strong partnership with customers and vendors to achieve financial results.

**We are looking for**:

- Minimum 3 years of Cold storage or other warehouse management experience.
- 3+ years in the distribution and logistics industry, preferably with a diversity of experiences in manufacturing, transportation, and distribution/warehousing.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Business/Logistics/Supply Chain or other related.
- Continuous improvement-related experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership attributes with the ability to drive performance across a diverse team of associates in an operations environment.
- Strong development, training, and coaching skills. Ability to nurture growth and develop a strong bench.
- Financial and analytical acumen in the areas of operations, cost management, pricing, and volume management.
- Superior customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients directly.
- Proactive, self-starter.
- Team player.
- Analytical.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective written/verbal communication.
- Proven record in building strong relationships & networks.
- Must be on call on the weekends.
