The Brick is actively seeking to expand our distribution team. As Warehouse Material Handler you will be reporting to the Distribution Manager. We need enthusiastic people with a great customer focused attitude The winning combination of team spirit and desire for career focused growth will ensure a rewarding experience in one of our fabulous distribution Centre
**We will pay you a $1000 retention bonus after 6 months of continued employment as a Full-Time Employee**

Dayshift: Monday to Friday 6:30am-3pm

Evening Shift: Monday to Friday 1:30pm to 10pm

Nightshift: Sunday to Thursday 10pm-6:30am

Weekend: Saturday and Sunday 7am-5pm

**Possibility to earn up to $18.**
**Negotiable based on previous**
**experi**
**ence. Above that we have shift Premiums: Evening Shift $0.75, Night Shift $1.50.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Loading and unloading trucks
- Picking and put-away of all product types
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of inventory/stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructions
- Verifying, ensuring accuracy, and generating reports for inventory control
- Processing store entry stock transfers
- Upholding all company health and safety, security, and operational policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- No experience is necessary; knowledge of operating material handling equipment is an asset
- Ability to prepare customer orders by operating material handling equipment to lift and carry product exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis (loading sofas etc.); some manual lifting is required to adjust the loads.
- Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques
- Able to meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends, as required
- Ability to pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick
