**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital or acute care setting. Your primary focus will be on assisting patients in their rehabilitation process, helping them regain mobility and improve their quality of life.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries or surgeries.
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to promote recovery and prevent further injury.
- Prepare treatment areas by cleaning and organizing equipment, ensuring a safe environment for patient care.
- Support patients during therapy sessions, providing encouragement and motivation to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient status and any concerns that arise during treatment.

**Requirements**:

- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or a related field.
- Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- A genuine passion for patient care and improving the lives of others through rehabilitation services.
