Edmonton, Canada Task Concrete Full time

**Job Summary**:
Task Concrete is seeking individuals with concrete construction & demolition experience, to join our growing company as a **general labourer**.
You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills to expand your capabilities & pay.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Support & assist our concrete cutting & coring operators
- Support & assist our lead-hands, equipment operators, finishers & carpenters on our concrete construction crews
- Maintaining a clean worksite using continuous housekeeping principles & take initiative to learn new skillsets
- Housekeeping of shop & yard
- Loading & unloading of job materials
- Organization of truck & trailers
- Cleaning of equipment & tools
- Concrete demolition & removals
- Form, reinforcement, & concrete placement
- Perform other related duties as required or instructed

**Qualifications Include**:

- Minimum 2 years of general construction experience;
- Preferred to have at least 1 of the 2 years be in the concrete industry;
- Valid Class 5 Driver's with a **CLEAN** 3 year drivers abstract is **MANDATORY**;
- Excellent work ethic, a positive attitude, & a desire to complete tasks in a timely & safe manner;
- Having competency with basic hand tools is strongly recommended & preferred in addition to power tools.

**Position Details**:

- Applicants must have reliable transportation;
- Must have steel toe work boots;
- Full time working hours

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Are you willing to occasionally travel out of town as required for work, for periods of time that could range from 2-7 days typically, but in some instances may be longer?

(15-30% of yearly workload is out of town)
- Do you have CSTS 2020 & WHMIS (Free certifications)

**Experience**:

- concrete construction: 1 year (preferred)
- general construction: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CLASS 5 Non-GDL License (required)
