**About Us**:
The Rice Corp is a growing food company that specializes in creating rice-focused dishes inspired by Korean and Japanese flavours. We operate Elisa Kimbap, our new brand offering authentic Korean street food, as well as a catering division that delivers fresh Korean rice bowls to schools and local groups. We’re currently hiring for our catering division and are seeking team members who share our passion for exceptional food, consistency, and community.

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dependable Food Prep / Customer Service team member whose primary responsibility will be preparing bowls for our catering unit. This role involves standing for extended periods and keeping a consistent pace to ensure accurate, quality, and timely preparation. The secondary role includes assisting at our cash counter and operating the grocery checkout.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and assemble Korean bowls and meals for catering orders, following recipes and portion standards.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality in all food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards in both preparation and service areas.
- Assist with customer service at the counter, including greeting customers, taking orders, and preparing food for packaging.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages
- Work collaboratively as part of a small team.

**Requirements**:

- **Food Handle Cert Preferred**:

- **Minimum 1 year of food prep**, kitchen, or customer service experience.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of assigned tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude.

**Part-Time Mon-Fri from 12:00 - 18:00 (12-30 hours per week), with potential for full-time and/or cross-training opportunities.**
