As leaders in the Construction Industry our resume includes a myriad of projects ranging from small facility renovations to commercial/industrial complexes, aviation hangars, recreation and sports facilities, educational institutions, and high-rise buildings.

We are looking for experienced Project Managers to join our team on Calgary’s next largest project the Calgary Event Centre (CEC). CANA is an established company where processes and protocols are in place, where the corporate structure allows nimbleness and adaptability.

**The Role**

These positions would be responsible for providing direction and responsibility for either Electrical, Structural and/or Precast scopes. This will include costs, schedule, and quality assurance. This position involves subcontract negotiations, liaison with owners, engineers, and sub-trades, and management of the technical and financial aspects of the contract. You will be the front-line CANA contact with consultants and the Owner and will be responsible for promoting and projecting the CANA image of efficiency, quality, and technical competence and fair management of trades and suppliers.

**What You Bring**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or Diploma in Architectural Technology.

(Equivalencies will be considered).
- 5-10+ years of progressive experience in the commercial construction industry as a Project Manager with progressive

responsibility in the size and scope of projects.
- Electrical - experience leading electrical and coordinating low voltage scopes including: A/V, Video control, Broadcast

cabling, IPTV, Access Control, Security, Audio Systems, Converged Network, Structured Cabling, etc.
- Structural - experience leading large scale structural steel and long span steel an asset.
- Precast - experience leading stadia and/or precast parking structures.
- Experience leading these scope disciplines or other scopes such as civil, excavation shoring,

mechanical, interior construction, or specialties on a large scale commercial or stadium

construction project considered an asset.
- Strong background with experience on projects over $200 million.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills.
