Building Superintendent

**Job description**
We are a family-owned property management company based out of Midtown Toronto looking for a new superintendent to join our team for a small 30 unit Building. Duties would be primarily cleaning of building and respond to work orders (about 12 hours a week) plus on-calls evenings and weekends.
**Responsibilities**:
- showing apartments
- Successful applicants must have a flexible schedule
- On-call requirements include but are not limited to: maintaining the building quality, showing suites, responding to emergency call, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, healthy environment for our residents
- Responding to work orders
- Keep records
- Other duties as assigned
- Handling turnover of apartments, ensuring they are cleaned and ready for new tenants
**Superintendent Skills and Qualifications**:
- Experience with rentals preferred
- Strong customer service experience with residents is essential
- Excellent interpersonal, phone and customer service skills
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing systems and new technology
- Strong problem-solving skills & a strong sense of personal responsibility and reliability, with the desire to work as an integral member of a team
- Planning and organizational skills coupled with ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work independently (self-managed) and with others in a team environment
- 1 bedroom apartment in leu of salary
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
