Experienced Rece

**Overview**
We are seeking a passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in educating and nurturing young minds alongside other RECE's and ECA's in a supportive learning environment.

We are seeking an RECE that is a passionate, friendly, caring and experienced in ECE to be apart of the team. Must be able to help with various duties in and out of the classrooms.

Part-time (30-40 hrs/week) leading to a Full-time position within the Preschool/Toddler Classrooms. Must be Available for shifts between 7:15am - 6pm.

**Responsibilities**:

- Experience children through creative and educational activities
- Develop and implement fun, educational, creative and thought provoking activities
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure open communication and involvement in children's education
- Have an approach with children and parents that is engaging and warm
- Implement early childhood education curriculum to promote learning and development
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that is conducive to learning
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, keeping detailed records of their achievements and areas for improvement
- Assist with cleaning duties, dishes, food prep
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Be reliable and consistent, have patience
- Be familiar with AQI and HDLH principles, as well as the CCEYA requirements
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behaviour
- Follow all health and safety regulations

**Skills**:

- Prior experience working with young children (18months-4yrs) is required (at least 4 years)
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices within a childcare - AQI and HDLH principles, as well as the CCEYA requirements
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
- Are fit and able to work in childcare (carrying up to 40 pounds at a time/lifting/bending etc.)
- Be fluent in English (verbal and written)

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
