As part of our estimating team, you will be responsible for completing take-offs and project estimates, analyzing tenders, conducting negotiations, and maintaining our tendering process and reporting systems. Additionally, you will be coordinating price packages with suppliers, subcontractors, owners, designers, and architects regarding tenders, liaising with engineers, and preparing economic feasibility studies on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Training in these areas will be provided

To be successful in this role, you should have strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Understanding of a construction work site is considered a major asset.

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete take-offs and project estimates including cost of materials, labor, and equipment required for projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings, and specifications.
- Contribute to the tendering procedures; examine and analyze tenders, recommend tender awards and conduct negotiation.
- Actively encourage a learning environment, share your knowledge, and be a role model throughout the estimation process with our team.
- Participate in site review, tender review, tender hand-off, and project closing, as required.
- Complete final bid submission to the client (in conjunction with the GM as needed).
- Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Keep up to date with new construction materials, methodologies, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain a database of cost information including but not limited to cost feedback from bids.
- Complete post-bid/post-project analysis completion and ensure that associated learning and communication takes place.
- Utilize estimating software (Building connected, On Screen Take Off & Quick Bids, Jobber).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $48,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
