**Title**: Regional Sales Manager, Canada Hearth
**Reports to**: Director of Sales, Canada Hearth
**Location**: 24 Napoleon Road, Barrie
**Job Purpose**: Reporting to the Director of Sales for Canadian Hearth, the Regional Sales Manager is a key member of the management team. Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned territories. Directs and coaches a sales team and providing leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and sales growth in line with the business plan. Establish, implement, and report strategies and KPIs to strategically expand customer base and programs for Dealers, Distributors and Account Executives.
**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
- Manages and directs Sales Team to achieve sales and profit goals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with customers to understand their business objectives.
- Create, communicate, and administer sales and marketing policies and programs to support trade partners. Develop and implement field marketing strategies to effectively communicate the Napoleon value proposition.
- Conducts one-on-one reviews with all Business Development/Account Managers to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of the team's sales and activity performance.
- Maintain sales volume, pricing structure, product development, and selling strategies by continuously scanning the economic and competitive landscape as well as shifting retail and consumer trends. Ensure sales pipeline is tracked and supports overall revenue goals.
- Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding sales and territory performance. Prepare monthly sales report detailing sales, activities, significant events, competition, etc.
- Understand market and consumer demand and translate that into managing forecasts collaboratively with supply chain and demand planning, to meet and exceed customer demand.
- Internal collaboration driving the business forward, by communicating with Marketing, Operations, Production, and Dealer Services to ensure alignment in achieving our objectives.
- Extensive travel required (up to 30%) including customer visits, territory travel, attending tradeshows, participating in workshops and industry functions.
- Assist and participate in national, regional, and local promotions for Napoleon including trade and consumer shows where applicable.
**Education and Experience**:
- University Degree
- 3+ years of proven sales leadership experience in results-oriented environment and ability to lead a sales team.
- Must have proven experience growing sales in a defined Region within the specialty retail environment and the ability to coach and lead a team.
- Extensive territory travel and weekend work as required.
- The ability to travel throughout USA and Canada.
- The ability to work from a home office environment.
